Admission Criteria:
Thepatient should be assessed as having a primary diagnosis of one or more of thefollowing:
- alcohol or other substance dependency
- sex addiction
- eating disorder
- compulsive gambling
- co-dependency
Patientsmust be:
- aged 18 years or above
- physically and psychologically able to cope with the demands of the programme
Medical
Amedical history and physical examination is completed by our medical staff uponadmission. Where needed, a medical detoxification programme is overseen by ourMedical Practitioners and monitored by our Nursing team.
Airport transfers
Patientsfrom out of town are met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport and transported directlyto Harmony Addictions Clinic.
